From the Master meter to the channel: what to check, in this order.

Go in order. Most cases are solved in the first three steps.

  1. Play and watch the L/R meter, top right. If it moves, REDKEYS is playing: check the cables, the interface volume and the PA.
  2. Check the audio interface in Settings › Devices: Audio interface shows its name, or — when none is open. Tap Open and pick yours under Audio device.
  3. Play a note on the on-screen keyboard (Desktop and Tablet). If it sounds from the screen but not from your keyboard, the problem is MIDI: see The MIDI keyboard does not play.
  4. Look at the channel: Choose means it has no sound yet (tap it and pick one); Off here means the sound is off in this part (Plays here and Off here).
  5. MUTE lit on the channel? Mute blocks your keyboard on that channel. Turn it off.
  6. Check the channel fader and the Master: tapping the L/R meter opens the Master and the buses.
