The Master

Control the final volume, watch the meter and put output effects, such as a limiter, on the Master.

The Master is the sound's last stop before the interface. Its left and right meter is always at the top of the screen; tapping it opens the Master page, and tapping again goes back.

  • The Master fader is the final volume.
  • The Master's Mute silences everything that goes through it.
  • The MAIN strip's button opens the Master panel: the output (Routing), the effects and the audio device settings.

Effects on the Master

The Master has 3 effect slots, like the buses, and they start empty: REDKEYS puts no effect on the Master on its own. If you want a safety ceiling for the PA, put the Limiter in one of the Master's slots.
