Aurora presets
Browse the 1,479 presets, search by name and save your own.
PATCH, on the bottom strip, is where the presets are. The display shows the preset Aurora is on; after you move any control, a * appears after the name.
- DEC and INC go to the previous and next preset.
- Tap the display to open the whole list. It opens on the preset that is playing, marked and in view.
- Tap a preset to load it.
Changing presets sets every control on the face: portamento, voice mode, HISS, arpeggio, LFO. Moving a control never writes into the preset: the factory ones never change, and yours only change with Save as….
When you move a control, the display shows its name and value for a moment, then goes back to the preset.

In the list, Library shows a single bank, Category shows one family of sounds (such as Bass or Brass) and Search looks through names and families as you type. Each time the list opens, everything goes back to All.
Save your own
- Set up the face.
- Tap the display, then Save as….
- Type a name and tap Save. The preset goes into the Mine column and takes the category of the preset it came from.
More than one Aurora
Each layer with Aurora is a whole Aurora, with its own panel, preset and voices. Put two on one channel, one above and one below in a split, and each plays its own keys. The limit is the layer limit: up to 8 per channel.
