Update REDKEYS and the libraries
The new app version is in your account; the libraries update in Settings › Libraries.
The app
The lifetime licence includes every version 1 update. When a new version is out, your account shows Version … available, with What changed, and you get an e-mail.
- Sign in to your account, open REDKEYS and, under Downloads, choose Installer .exe.
- Close REDKEYS (and the DAW, if you use the plugin).
- Run the installer and follow the steps.
Your setlists, sounds and settings live in the REDKEYS folder in your Documents and stay there. If REDKEYS asks for activation, use the same e-mail and serial: on the same computer it does not take another slot. The installed version shows in Settings › About.
The libraries
- Open Settings › Libraries.
- Choose Check for updates. REDKEYS checks this device, the licence and the libraries.
- A library with a new version shows Update to …: choose Update.
Under YOUR LIBRARIES, each one says Up to date or Installed. A download in progress has Pause and Resume, and picks up where it stopped.
