With the DrumPads and Mute
Arpeggiate the chord a pad sends to the channel and use Mute to keep the channel for the pad.
A sequence pad aimed at a channel only sends the notes. The arpeggiating is done by that channel's Arpeggiator.
- A pad holding a chord becomes a continuous arpeggio, in tempo.
- A pad that changes chord every bar makes the arpeggio follow the chords.
- Keyboard and pad add up to a single chord. In Held, the pad's notes show PAD.
Mute
- The channel's Mute blocks the keyboard and the pedal, not the pad.
- When you turn Mute on, the keys and pedal you were holding are let go. The pad's notes carry on.
- To keep a channel just for the pad's arpeggio, put that channel on Mute.
