Program Change calls the part

Send Program Change from a pedalboard or controller to call the current song's parts.

Program Change walks the parts: PC 1 calls step 1 of the form, PC 2 step 2, and so on. It is the number shown under each part on stage. It changes parts like a tap on the parts bar: right away, or on the next bar in a song with a backing track or multitrack that is playing (Change parts and songs).

Choose where PC comes from

  1. Open the MIDI screen, INPUTS tab.
  2. On the Parts · Program Change row, choose the device and MIDI channel. The default is any device, Omni.
  3. Or tap Learn and send a Program Change: it is set.

A PC higher than the song's number of steps does nothing, and the notice says how many steps it has. Program Change is not part of MIDI Learn; for next and previous, map the Next part and Previous part actions.
